Probally some mutated form of an oil spill from 25 years ago.

Get the Exxon experts on it.

I saw a close up picture of a sample they got of it and it looked like mushed up seaweed.
Stringy and hairy like.

Reminds me of that show tales from the crypt, the stephen king one, where a bunch of high school kids went swimming in this lake, that had some wierd thing floating on top of the water that eats everyone hanging out on the raft. Yall remeber that movie?
