Rep Power!

Ok first off I would like to say than you NDN for providing a awesome and

entertaining site, where people can come and freely exspress they opinions,

play in a sit owned casino, and even drift on over to a free arcade, full of fun

and challenging games. We can play in private members only tournaments

and the site even has its own poker room, with a nice sleek and modern

layout.

However here lately, I have seen quite a bit of an uproar over this rep

power system, and exactly who is getting what as far as rep points for

what. It appears as if some people have gotten political about it, acting as

if NDN and eejit have taken a form of dictatorship over the system, and

that only a select few long-time, long standing members, and a few so

called A$$-kissers, will be the only ones who will amass much of a rep.

Call me an A$$-kisser or whatever you want, as I have stated this is a free

opinion site, but this is all a bunch of nonsense. What dictator is gonna give

out free money for a bit of writing, let you lounge in his arcade freely,

and give you your right to free opinion?

Maybe we all need to sit back, accept the system, and give it a chance to

work. Then if you feel like there is some sort of wierd conspiracy, with a few

favorite NDNers, then complain. :)

Nice post, and well said IMO.

I would like to add to it. What site

can you go to online, where the owner of the

place buys out of his own pocket Nintindo Wii's and

more, then sends them out of the country to the members,

just because they post on the site earn chips and

buy tickets to the drawings. (Do you have any idea

how much this cost?) Check out the postage alone, this may change

tunes, price the wii latley? This is unheard of! What a guy!

Nonetheless I would hate to see what NDN will

do with the chip system if the complaining and bickering

doesn't stop. I have a pretty good guess what he might

do with it. So smile and don't worry be happy before we don't have chips at all. :)

Getting the rep power reset and making EEj and NDN the rep givers, simply makes it more of a prized thing becuase it makes it more rare. Im definately more anxious to see that rep bar go up. Certainly makes me think more about my posts and what i say, which im pretty sure was one of the intentions. And ditto BnL, youre getting stuff for free for something that youd just do anyway, so love it up :-). Even with changes; still hands down best poker/casino forum around.

This is exactly what i was talking about in my post about my rep points, and frankly I don't see a HUGE difference in the new system with the amount of chips awarded per post. I'm glad with each change in NDN's system lately. His changes have only made this forum better for all of us, and THANK GOD the posting of every news article on the net was stopped from being copied and pasted into threads just for chips.

IMO stop thinking so much about getting rep, and post whatever you want. In all likelihood its what will get you more rep than these kinds of things

well since other threw there to cents in and the only big topics on the forum lately is rep power and how unfair the chip system is.... i found it best to just try to be yourself and come up with something original then trying to hard to get +rep. i think most of you are just trying to hard and then when you dont get +rep you get all pissy or mad cuz you didnt get +rep. if you get it then you get it if you dont oh well its not the end of the world is it.
