When I log in, it pops up an ad and I did join.. Because, I practically join all the casino games, just to play the slot games but sometimes I can't get rid of the ad even though I clicked on it to join but I have to backspace it just to get to where I was at. I would join without hesitation but the ad thing is like other sites and it's just annoying. :( , Plus, when you when posted, you made points but now you don't make any points and how am I suppose to go to the blackjack table now with little or less than I made, or make a subject trivia post without being able to back my points up. lol Ugh , you know what I mean; but , it's not coming out the way I want it too. :) Hope you know what I mean.

well sorry but someone gots to pay the bills. it has to be this way in order for ndn to keep this going. its not a bother . if u like that way the chip system is then u will have to deal with it.

As for the chips, as the new system has just come into place, within a fairly short period of time, and the way the rep system works, youll be earning chips faster than you were previously.

Well I did do that, click to skip it. But, before it gave me no option to skip to it, It just took my browser up. It only happened once so maybe it's like a quirk or something. I don't know. Like right now it's working fine.

Yeah if you move too fast on the forum (like i do) and as soon as the page loads start scrolling down, it will mess it up for a bit. Give it 15 sconds and it will vanish though

okay, I'll try it for a couple of days and let you know if it still happens than. Is that only going to be the "paris hilton ad" or will it be a different ad on a daily basis? LOL she looks like paris hilton and I already signed up and used up all the free promos. lol :grin:

The ads are necessary to help pay for the chips system! I'm certain we can all tolerate a few ads in exchange for what NDN has to offer.

As for the problems you encountered with the ads, I apologize for that! I would suggest clearing your cache and see if that helps the problem.

The ad shouldn't appear too often so hopefully it's a minor pain that everyone can deal with.

As far as the reputation system goes, please allow more time to pass to adapt to the new system.

I understood that people weren't going to be thrilled by the fact that they would earn less chips than they were used to at the beginning, but things have gotten so out of hand that something had to be done to preserve the concept.

The system is designed to reward people who are genuinely interested in contributing to the forum. If you are one of those people, you will soon be earning EVEN MORE chips than you were with the old system - Just give it a little time!

For those of you who were more interested in earning chips and redeeming them - That's perfectly fine too! We have a great system here and it's designed to reward EVERYONE! I'm just hoping that the new changes will encourage more people to contribute more to the forum!

I hope I have cleared up any concerns in this thread, but please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns!

But with the new system. It's going to be harder for us to play in the games, and I thought that was a big part of the community also. Right now, I would probably have to post 175+ posts just to play in the tourney tomorrow, and I don't feel right about that.

I don't know if the buy-ins can be lowered or what.

I'm just, frustrated I guess.

I don't have the most patience.

The buyin for tomorrow is 200 chips.

You can make up to 75 chips per post.

3 decent posts (that wont get deducted) and you have your buyin.

well call me wrong but i think the 1st game in july was the 1st time i have ever played with u. and ive played many. well if people dont blow there chips then u will be able to afford them. so basically i am saying stay out the casino u are making nd rich off of it. lol

lol, It was Nd's chips anyways, I like the casino and am the 2nd unluckiest person to play.I don't quite understand the new system but if ND say's its ok it probally is.The only setback I see is peep's with little time or education for that matter are at a distinct dissadvantage.I have worked with my hands for 22 years, carple tunnel makes it hard to type anymore, but I will try just not gonna play as much as I used to, that was happening anyways without the changes.I do see alot of the same folks with posts, so guess it's ok.I just can't believe ND is getting rich off his own chips, thats a new one.

It's true that people with less time will earn less chips, but that isn't due to the changes in the new system.

The system is in place to encourage people to stop by more often and to reward people based on their activity here. It only makes sense that people who are able to spend more time here will earn more chips.
