I had to make this thread because I have a few questions but wasn't able to reply on the thread NDN made. Sorry for not quoting but that wasn't an option for me at the moment so NDN, I apologize for that. I hope you understand.

POSTING GUIDELINES

1. Affiliate links are not permitted anywhere in the forum. Any member found to be posting affiliate links in the forum (or sending them to other members via private message) will immediately be banned.

Does this mean we can not post links to youtube, myspace, etc? Or are you referring to casino/poker room affiliate links. I wasn't sure if you meant like links to other websites that have nothing to do with ndn, poker, or casino rooms, or not, but I want to be sure before posting and getting punished for it so I feel like I needed to ask.

5. Reputation will be given for any post that we find to contribute something to the forum.

Will we be able to see the rep points and for what posts or what? I don't exactly know when I get rep points if I do and it's kind of confusing still.

Those are really the only question that I have that need to be answered and I don't think I'm the only one so if you could clarify it'd be real helpful.

Youtube and Myspace links are fine (as are most other links). I am mainly referring to casino/poker/bingo/sportsbook affiliate links.

You typically won't get to know what posts you received rep points for. Where possible, we will try to include the url in our rep comments.

To see what post gave you rep, is pretty simple.

Simple click on UserCP at the top of the forum, immediatly on that page will be your recent rep, green for positive, red for negative.

Itll look like this....

[] "Title Of Thread" -- "Date" --"Name of rep giver" -- "Comment"

To see what post got you your rep, click on the title of the tread and itll take you to that exact post.

Hope this helps

Thanks for answering. I just wanted to be aware and not post anything that would get me suspended, etc.

I don't know, I guess it's the better safe than sorry philosophy.

And thanks for the help eejit. I appreciate that, now I'm gonna go check it out.
