The Mayan calander has predicted the end of days to be December 21, 2012.
There are alot of people that really believe it will happen.
HOWEVER
If we knew for sure that the end of days was near, what would you do
in the next 2 1/2 years that's different than what you do now?

If you mean that...
I belive in the end of the days in this case example:
Im staying here at Ouro Preto, because im moving to Campinas.
These days will end.
Like the days today.
And tomorow.
But to belive the world will explode and jesus will help u, I dont think so.
My Us Government creates some caos to make things easers, but thats another story.

I don't believe that any one on earth can predict the end of the world. But if they could, and I had 2 and 1/2 yrs left to do anything I wanted. I would get a can of get right with God first..... Than I would go sky diving, bunji jumping, horse back riding, swimming, snowmobiling, Ice skating, shopping, I would go visit Eejit, Glo Bug and Tay and Klinkman. I would go sail boating, I would go on a cruise, I would go to LA and get on the Price is right, and Wheel of fortune. I would go to Disney World and Disney Land, I would go to Europe and Spain and New York and Virginia. I would go to Texas and see my daughter. and I would spend time with my family. Oh and i would go fishing. How much time do I have left?

with the history channel and the enw movie (2012) coming out the whole apocolyptic end of days prophecy is pretty much common knowledge, but it isnt just a mayan bs kinda thing. If anyone is remotely interested by it, I encourage you to look into the intricacies of it, there were a lot of civilizations as well as individuals ( see: edgar Cayce (spelling) ) who predicted not exactly an end of the world catastrophe, just a general shift in the thoughts of humans as a whole. dont know rules about links, but Edgar Cayce, 2012, End of Days, Mayan Calendar, Mayan Prophecy, 2012 Apocalypse, Bible Prophecy, Conspiracy Theory, Illuminati, New World Order, End World, Doomsday, End Times, 2012 End World, End of the World . Truly remarkable stuff no matter what your religion or belief system is.

I think that date is a bunch of bull hockey. But regardless, I'd still probably do many of the same things that Lori mentioned. I'd also marry klinkman right away.

"Uncalled for at the same time certainly not your to judge?"
What does this mean?
that I should not judge him because of a post and because he might be a cristian and I can upset him with this joke?
is that correctly?

Navuta, it is ok if you are concerned about someones salvation. (That is nice) However it is ONLY for God to judge in the end. And yes it is nice to see that you understand that someone may be offended by this. None the less you should go reread the post you were referring to in first place because I think you may have misunderstood it. And with a language barrier it probably was. :)

getting back on post subject tho...... i would pretty much do what ive already done..... I'm very content ... i might ask NDN to have that fishing/poker meet with all of you though... it would be great to spend the last day s with yall drinkin and poker playing and catching the biggest meanest fish you can catch from dry land (I aint going out in a boat with any of yas... fraid you might drive the way you play) we could start like 3 days before ....freeringos place sounds perfect.....high enuf elevation that if the world explodes we just might be on the biggest chunk and survive! those afraid for salvation might want to step down from this one ... all my god says is to do no harm...that leaves alot of stuff open that some may find non religious (so come with an open mind)
opk the day seems fixed ..now all we need to know is who is coming? and will there be indoor plumbing?

That's right Sue, we could very well survive at 6000 feet and in a valley protected by mountains all sides. We have solar and spring water, we could
produce our own bio fuels for generator use. We have awesome soil to grow our gardens. There would be plenty of animals to hunt. After our NDN house boat trip on the Mississippi river, we need to all meet on high ground. Of course we would have to weed out the undesirables.
Hmmmm who would be king?

Wow Freeringo...
That Ideia was nice.
Living by our own means in the middle of nowhere.
We could iven start community, with lots of people.
Make our own rules, and laws.
Would be cool. I always dreamed of something like that.

I dont think i would do anything much different right now but as it got closer to that period in time on 2012, if there is obvious scientific evidence, then i would probably do what everyone else does, panic and go crazy, protect my family at all costs and start digging a really long tunnel to a big cave for some reason, lol. Oh and stock it to the roof with sphagetti O's and sardines. Some thing you just cant lay down since you was a kid:)
As far as going crazy, I might actually spend the entry fee to get in the main event, i would go to niagara falls, i would fly a kit again and take my kid to the beach, doing all this armed with a high powered assualt rifle, just in case i run into any insanely crazy people out there. I would take my family wherever they wanted to go, and hopefully spend the last days with them.
But the world was gonna end back when the mullinium came along, and all the computers were suppose to crash, the world was gonna end during all the world wars, everyone was just gonna bomb everyone else to smitherens and back, the world was gonna end whenever we think it might end, but so far it hasnt. Till then Im stuck with just being me and my life with my great family and you guys, the friendly cool folks of NDN!
