well late last night i was burning the midnight oil at carbon and i doing pretty good on cash game. well my laptop starts to really slow up and im like what the hell. it was like a stomach grumbling. then the damn screen goes blue. thats like running to the toilet from across the street at a neighbors house. well i restart and all seems well till it tells me i i have no hard drive. and i start to freak out because i didnt back anything up. now that is a full on duece dropping. i cant believe my hard drive to a crap on me. wow well i am going today to get a new one maybe a 120 gb becuase i only have music and pics and poker on it. oh yeah speaking of music all itunes music gone. oh i am in bad shape. no personal or much needed info so its not bad. wait what am i talking about i got thousands of pics and music on there. i am gonna cry. no i am using my crappy desktop that is older than ringos chonies. i am looking into a new laptop after i get hard drive. anyone know of any good deals? lemme know.

They say the ASSU100HD is nice, small and it can handle 6.5 hours...
costs 250$$.

nope i couldnt finish it at all, hey who makes it? what do u mean it can handle 6.5 hours. not sure what u mean.

Sorry to hear about your poor laptop, that sucks. I'm a firm believer in the Macs being the best computers around, but those are expensive, so probably not what you had in mind. Klinkman uses a Dell that has been pretty reliable. I'd just avoid Vista if you can, get XP or something.

Go with Dell. Dell = awesome.
Mine is 160GB hard drive and it ADvent 5431.
Got it for $450 and i like it.

yeah a dell is what i got now. i would never use a mac, i am checking out dell right now . i see some good deals. thanks all.

Ive had it happen to me once or twice but never with anything about the hard drive. Is it okay if it happened twice? What does it mean?

It's "affectionately" known as the Blue Screen of Death, and yeah, it's generally not a good thing and you should probably get it looked at if it's happened twice.
By the way, Macs don't do this :D

Id go Dell/Advent to be safe.
Ive used both and both are great for what u need

well your hard drive is gonna die so back everything up.
