Does anyone else out there hope that the Cavaliers lose to the Orlando Magic. I know I sure would like to see the big bully ball hog who travels to much and gets away with lose his shot. I mean Lebron James thinks he is so good but remember there is no I in team. He may be good but it takes a defense to win the championship. If you have any thoughts on this please let me know them.

Well Dwight Howard is the NBA defensive player of the year, but to say the cavs dont play defense is not too accurate. I also believe he is not the typical ballhog. James does it all, and have you seen him get back on defense how many blocks did he get from coming up to a player who was on a fast break and swatting it off the glass just as they were going to lay it in? I dont think Orlando has what it takes to get by Cleveland, although they have surprised me so far, it will probably have to be in 7 games for them to defeat Cleveland. Really all my hopes are that whatever happens it wont be the Lakers that win the title this year. So good luck to Denver and/or whoever comes out of the East.

Im just not a big fan of Lebron James and the Cavs. Denver I definatley would not mind winnng it all, just so long as it is not the Cavaliers. Like I have said before Lebron travels to much and gets away with it, but defensivly he is the only good one out there. There is no "I" in "Team" and Lebron can not do it all himself. Plus the Magic is already up a game on the Cavaliers going to Orlando so they do have good chance of shutting Lebron James down, since he is the only one they really need worry about. Im shocked he made the game winning basket in game two becuase he had only made three buckets outside the hoop. All others were layups, dunks;);) or allyoops close in to the basket. Lebron is a under the hoop shooter not an outside shooter. His size is all that makes him good at that also, I mean if I see him coming my way I would get out of his way too so he would not pound me into the ground on his way to the hoop.

Well It is still little early but I may just end up eating my words of praise for the Cavaliers yesterday Orlando beat them again and are now up 2-1. That is two more wins then I had origionally thought Orlando would get. I am surprised so far but there still is a long way to go yet in that series.

It's going to be Magic and Lakers all the way!!!!! I love both teams. Lakers were my very first favorite basketball team...back when Magic Johnson was playing. I have followed them every since and I must say the Lakers's jersey is the only basketball jersey I have ever worn. It looks cute with a white skirt and tennis shoes!!!! Now I am torn between the two teams because I have to go for a Florida team too. The other night I was at Applebee's in my Laker's jersey and 5 guys walked in with their Magic jerseys. At first I thought we would all just trash talk each other and my husband was getting nervous, but then they thought both teams could go all the way. We ended up doing shots together and watched the game. Magic won that night and Lakers won the next night. It's an exciting season!!!! My jersey is #24, fyi. I wear my jerseys just for the season and then I tuck them away till next season. ps..I love Labron James too, i just wish his team would help him out. He can't win playing by himself. I won his rookie card playing in a poker game!!!

Hopefully Magic can at least get past the Cavaliers during the playoffs. Thats kinda cool you have Lebron James rookie card. That should definately be worth some money down the road. So I would hold on to that or pass it on to your kids or a family member. I have quite a few Micheal Jordan cards but not sure if I have his rookie card. I know I have a couple Magic Johnson cards also, just not his rookie card.

Baseball cards are so over saturated now a days.
The value of the cards aren't anything like they use
to be.
By the time a Lebron James rookie card becomes valuable
we will all be hard wired to the internet and won't give a rats ***
about baseball cards, stamps or even paper money.

Okay well I will be the first to admit I was wrong about the Cavaliers and they did not live up to my expectations. What can I say though, I am a Phoenix Suns fan and growing up in Arizona every year my expectations seem to come up short.lol. I really hope though Orlando will come through and beat the Lakers, I just dont have any expectations on this. It will be a very good and entertaining Finals that is for sure.

Orlando has a real chance of beating the Lakers. The Magic and the Lakers played twice in the regular season, with the Magic winning both times. In both of those games, Magic point guard Jameer Nelson had big games. He's been out with injury the last half of the season, but guess who's coming back to make a big Willis Reed type return. It'll be interesting to see how soon Nelson appears in the series.
I don't give much of a damn about the Orlando Magic, but I despise the Lakers. I lived in LA for three years and had to suffer with the LA media slobbering all over them. Not to mention the fact that I was a big Philadelphia 76'ers fan when I was a kid when they had Julius Erving, and they had a couple of run-ins with the Lakers. Matter of fact, when I was a kid we used to divide teams for pick-up basketball by Laker fans vs everyone else. That forced me to have to play with Celtic fans, and I hate the Celtics and their fans about as much as I loathe the Lakers.
Maybe Kobe Bryant can get caught up in another rape scandal or something.

I like both teams, but I'll have to go with the Lakers to win the championship. Regardless of Kobe's legal issues, he can still bring it on the court. In basketball, thats all that matters right now. Lakers go all the way!!!!!
