I got a job yesterday!

I'll be working with a law school professor here at TU as a summer research assistant. I'm pretty psyched about it, and the pay is really good too! I start tomorrow after I file my paperwork! Yay for gainful employment. Here's hoping this is just the beginning, and everyone here who is looking for a job opportunity to open up will find something soon.

That is good to hear someone is getting good work in this messed post bush economy. I just found out today after an interview with a college recruiter that i will be able to get a good student loan and start going to school soon, so that was great news for me. I hope other people here end up with good fortune also. maybe eejit will hit the mega jackpot at aztec millions, or globug will find a suitcase stuffed with hundred dollar bills. Good luck everyone!

It wasn't too bad, I pretty much set my own hours so I can work whenever I want, as long as it's no more than 20 hours a week. Somehow I can't open up my Excel program though, so I'm having to retype everything instead of just edit it from the file. It's a bit tedious, but that way I'll get paid more, right? Right now mostly I'm just filling in data, working on alumni stuff. Once I'm done filling in and editing, I'll be able to do research to hopefully fill in some missing pieces.
