It's with great sadness that I must inform everyone that our long-time member Duckey passed away on Monday.

Duckey was the 17th member to join NDN on the second day that the forums were open (06/09/2005). She was certainly active well before we opened the forums and was active as recent as earlier this month.

She was also active in many other online communities and she will be greatly missed.

Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

I will definitely keep her in my prayers. I wish I would have been able to meet/talk to her like all of you have.

I used to be a member of railbirds and we would have memorial tournaments for people that have passed and I would happily chip in for this if it's an idea you are thinking about.

I hope mentioning that isn't rude.

It's just what they used to do and it might be nice to do that for someone who was a part of something for so long.

RIP and I'm sorry I didn't get to know you that well.

I'll be praying for the family because I know that is definitely difficult to go through.

I never knew Duckey either, but I'll definitely keep the family in my prayers. Thanks NDN for letting us know about this. I think it's wonderful how we are there for our NDN family members. I know many people have been there for me, and that means so much.

I am so sorry to hear that she was a good friend. She will be missed at all the forums she belonged to. She will also be missed at the poker tables.
RIP DUCKEY
Goodbyes are not forever.

They simply mean I'll miss you
Until we meet again!

Duckey was awesome.

As an atheist (witjh an open mind tho) its at time like this i achieve a higher level of faith, hoping that a great person like Duckey has gone to a more special place.

She will be missed very much im sure.
