nah if ur gonna geta dirt bike u better get a kawasaki or honda 450. dont get a 250 u will regret it. i need a 4 stroke 450cc bike. honda has the new fuel injection and u get instant response time on the throttle. great bike. i have on e and i have a kawasaki. i ride bikes all the time. yamaha sucks. event he my favorite rider rides on in the supercross races. James Bubba Stewart. well its also all preference. u should go by what u feel comfortable with. but u need to get a 450 for sure. tons of power and i u will never reach the full potential of bike so it will last awhile.

yeah hondas are great right now because of the fuel ignition they added. but all the other makers of bikes will be adding them next year. to be honest i would look for like a 2007 bike with low hours and has all the added gadgets u need. u can find them cheap. my buddy picked a 2007 honda crf450 with all the ammenities for like $3000. it was dirt cheap. thats the route i would take but if need a new bike then get a honda.

I would have to say yamaha. I have a yamaha quad that I have been riding for a few years now with no problems. My friends and I spend around 30 hours a week (durring the warm months) riding hard on the sand dunes here in St. Anthony and the ones of us on yamahas are upgrading, adding parts, and making them faster, while the others seem to be spending a lot of time and money fixing. Granted we ride them hard, but it just seems the yamahas have held up the best.
