i will try to combine my 5 quotes a day into one post i hope i still get some responses and i will post the answers on polls tab

1."Poker's a day to learn and a lifetime to master"

2.I've often thought, if I got really hungry for a good milk shake, how much would I pay for one? People will pay a hundred dollars for a bottle of wine; to me that's not worth it. But I'm not going to say it is foolish or wrong to spend that kind of money, if that's what you want. So if a guy wants to bet twenty or thirty thousand dollars in a poker game, that is his privilege.

3.Aces are larger than life and greater than mountains.

4.Life is too long to play bad cards.

5.Hold'em is to to stud and draw what chess is to checkers.

While I appreciate the concept of this post, I just don't think it makes much sense.

We can all Google the answers to these quite easily so I am not sure there will be much interest in a thread like this one...

I enjoy reading them, but maybe we could have a system like we do for jokes where a few are posted only every few days, and it's not a "contest" but the author of the quote is in the original post? What do you think, NDN? As always, you're a great moderator!

Just set up a quote link.......like the poll links........if people want to research quotes on Google and then post them, that's fine it will save people like me time. because i like reading quotes, just a thought? NDN

You may continue to post these, but please keep them in one thread to minimize the amount of space they take up.

Thanks,
NDN
