Yes it may sound weird, but recently there has been an offer on the internet platform ebay with an original bracelet from the World Series of Poker. The price was set to 7.000€ and for all poker players, it definately is the highest target to reach, winning an event of the WSOP! So is this feeling really worth 7.000€ and why has the bracelet been put for sale? Is the owner gone broke and needs the cash to play again, now that would be really bad because usually a win creates at least 100k USD.
Nobody knows yet who put the Bracelet for sale on ebay and there was also no offer for it, thats why the Bracelet went straight back to its owner. But does it really have a deeper meaning when you got the money to buy such a bracelet? I find it ashaming that somebody needs to sell it and it does not really put the best light on that person. There is always a great story behind such a bracelet and in what manner and with what hands it has been won, a unique moment and so many feelings. The true meaning of such a bracelet is, that you have to earn it during the tournament and the great competition against all other players and if you buy it on an internet platform, it would have lost all attraction for me. Hence, just to buy it because you really want to have one sounds crap to me and we all play poker for the competition and earn our wins.
It will be interesting if that offer pops up again on ebay, I would say it will when the owner really needs the money. The only question is: If the bracelets gets sold, will the poker community get to know who the former owner was? I am not sure about that because I can not believe that this person really wants to hear all the banter and jokes about him afterwards. And I doubt that he will really find someone who actually buys it ... . We will see.

Stuff like that just isnt important for some people. I would probably sell it If I could get a nice size of cash for it. The person that won it knows they won it. Its public knowledge. Why keep it just to put it on a self in a study somewhere? I only have one life. I would rather have the money and use it for something I wanted... Also, Its a bracelett. Im not gonna where it around like a friggin homo. If it were a ring I might keep it to where it. I just depends on how much I could get out of it.

yeah i guess u will always know who won it but there are only a few people in this world that have one. to just give it up u gotta be broke. u know if u won a wsop then u have to have won at least 6 figures maybe even 7. i think they might have had poor money management. sucks for them. as for wearing the bracelet i wouldnt. not only does it make u look like a friggin homo but u also get a target on your back. preety tacky to wear and i lways laugh when i see someone do it. lol
