Online Poker Scene - Boku Turns $100 into $10,000 in 15 Days

Wow! I gotta say, I'm impressed, but I seriously wonder how (if?) someone who plays that much can function normally day to day. I mean I'm sure some of us here consider themselves to play a lot of poker, but this is nuts! Good for him for making money though, I suppose? What are your thoughts?

He was 50 tabling during the challenge and looking at the youtube vid on how he does it is really quite impressive! i don't know if i can keep up with that many tables laying in front of me... and manages to win a couple too!

I heard about this alot from many of my husbands poker playing friends. I wish I could do that but I don't think I am that skilled. I can multi table maybe 5 tables but not 50.

That would just confuse me way too much.

Major props to him for doing it though.

He won 90k$ in side bets so together it was 100k$ winning in two weeks from 100$.

I managed a nice Roi of +30 playing sit and goes.
I kept records for about 400 of them and then I quit.
Got too boring. Playing the same way all the time. zzzzzzz
Sure I was making money playing 1-$5 sit and go at a time,
But it came out to about $4 an hour. I then tried 2-3 games at a time
and my Roi dropped to around +15. I then went to the $10 level and my roi after 100 games dropped about 10 points. Showing a profit of about the same as the $5 level. My advice to anyone
wanting to make money at sit and goes, is to have plenty of time
and DO NOT jump around with high priced games.
Stick to one level only and keep records. At the $5 level,
you can only expect to profit max about $50-60 per $110 you invest or 20 games. It will take you at least 16 hours to play 1 at a time or 8 hours playing 2 at a time. If you can't show a profit on every 10 games you play, then you should stay away from sit and goes. A new sit and go has just arrived last couple of months called a double up. Top 5 double up. I average 8-10 wins in that.
Really easy if your patient and realize you don't have to do anything more than double up once and then watch the movie. These tourneys only take
about 25-35 min and you can play 2-4 at a time rather easily. Again the boredom factor.
How long can you go?
League games are so much more fun.
P.S. I have been playing on-line for 15 years and have never put money
on any poker site. I cash every 2-3 month and there are alot of better players than me.

It can certainly happen, I turned 600 into 4500 in less than 48 hours. I didn't sleep and I was playing cash games.

This guy put the effort in while maintaining his bankroll. Sick.

The money (profit) he made is very impressive in the amount of time he did it in and this is def. worth doing if you are able to do it. However, i would want to kill myself after about the 4th day.
