I am holding on the hope that the Sabres will hold on and make a good run during the playoffs. They have been very up and down this season so far. Losing Vanek for 4 weeks definitely has not helped the situation any but I am confident that they will secure one of the playoff spots in the conference. Once the playoffs start the records during the regular season don't mean anything anymore. It will be nice for the Sabres to have a clean slate to start with.
