Glad to have the opportunity to interact with you on this forum! I became interested in discussing the idea of traveling by rented car. What countries do you think are best for such trips? What routes are worth exploring, and are there any peculiarities to be aware of? I think renting a car gives you more freedom - you can plan your route flexibly, stop where you want, and not depend on public transportation schedules. But how to organize such a trip properly?

Many countries can travel by rented car, it is particularly convenient. For instance, in Iceland, there are few buses, and auto transport can help to get to, for example, waterfalls or glaciers. In Italy and especially the coastal areas and in France in the wine regions– this means you end up going to some of the villages, lovely places that car Rental car can access easily but other modes of transport might find hard to access. In terms of renting, I would suggest going to 8Rental (https://8rental.com/). They provide passenger cars for individuals, and minivans for large groups; prices are displayed at once with insurance and taxes, so no hidden costs accrue. It’s also necessary to find out local laws, if there are any toll roads, where are the entry points to the city center, parking details, etc. Insurance comes next when preparing for a trip no one wants to have a tedious experience.

I join the above: a lot depends on the country. Europe is ideal for renting - compact distances, beautiful roads. But, of course, you need to take into account where the roads are toll roads, where parking is difficult. I think it's best to study the rules in the chosen country in advance and maybe read reviews of other travelers. Have a good trip!
