What is going on in your life?

I know I have not been here much the past year but my family on both my husband's side and mine have been going through quite a bit with two sisters a brother and a niece having cancer.
My brother has terminal liver cancer and he has moved in with us.Because of all this I am lucky to be online to check the forums once every couple weeks.I just wanted to say thanks to NDN and all you regular members who still check in.

I'm sorry that sucks so much. I've been trying to break into the world of IT in some fashion, but haven't had any opportunities. I've had several job interviews but no offers have come from them. Other than that just trying to keep going. I'm taking a vacation to Tulsa soon that will be fun!

We have watched about 100 movies. Some awesome (50/5Y0, Margin Call), Some average (Martha Marcy May Marlene, Funny Games, 21), Some appalling (Grave Encounters, The Son Of No One, One For The Money)

I have also decided I want children, and to figure why I have weird insecurities.

Hi Judy, I am sorry to hear of all the cancer in your family right now! I will keep you and the rest of your family in my prayers!!! I wish there was something more that I could do! However prayer is powerful! : )

I miss all of my friends here on NDN and I think of you often. I still don't have the internet. (sneaking a peak from my mom and dads) I also had to put school on hold for so far two semesters and I am not sure how much longer. : ( Sad, but anyway, it's all about money. So therefore the problems in my life are trivial when I see what others are dealing with. Nonetheless they are fixable and are not life threatening. Which make me thankful!

I'm finishing up my 11th year as a PE teacher. Poker has been replaced by working out. I've made it through Insanity and am currently going through a P90x/Insanity Hybrid workout schedule. My my daughter just turned two in April and my son will be 4 in September. Totally excited to be out of the "baby phase" of having kids. It was fun when they were tiny but I love this age even more. Hope all is well with everyone. If I ever get some down time I'll try to make one of the Poker Stars games.

I am soooo sorry to hear about the cancer. CANCER SUCKS!!! Try to play some of the pokerstars games to take your mind off of it for a little while. I miss everybody too, we hardly ever chat anymore. I'm glad to see my old friends are still here. Maybe I will check in a little more. I wish you all the luck in the world.

Hi everyone we are working on some stuff and god willing it will all work out.I just have to get through mybrother's chemo on May 24.Please say a prayer for him , he is underweight and may not be able to get treatment.
And wow Phil I am so happy for you , I guess you got room for a house guest or two lol ,don't book that cruise isn't it the one your tried last year and got sick?lol

Lori you are young , school will come in time, just stay positive it helps.
