Recently Facebook, the world’s largest social network, announced that it may offer real-money gambling in the United Kingdom as early as the first quarter of 2012. Facebook is in talks with around 20 gambling experts, consultants, and casinos (some executives from PokerStars, 888 and Gamesys have been named) in a bid to bring real money gambling to its Facebook members.

Really? As in.....really? Will it hell. Then facebook has to apply for a gaming licence, and find a way to tax it, if they do this it wont be by early 2012.
Also - Why would they? They are worth 100billion. Surely Zukka has more sense then get involved in something that can harm that?

I highly doubt that facebook itself will offer any online gaming. Companies like Zynga, on the other hand, might be perfectly positioned to offer real money play.
