I dont play there, but they seem to do it wrong... I know they get around the laws based on sweepstakes laws, but why not have like different levels of subscibers?

like each month u can pay a 20$ subscriber fee, or a 50, 100, 250, 500 etc.. up to a cap amount like 1000$... each dollar is worth 1 site credit, the only games available are tournamnts, most tournamnets pay cash, and you include some other tournamnents that pay prizes from advertisers, wsop seats, wpt seats etc...

you include on your site some bullshlt poker school, news, blogs, tournamnet seat raffels thing, that u get w the subscriber fee... I dont see how this would be illegal, or any diff than what they do now.

and most people didnt deposit more than 1k a month on ftp or ps, so u would be basically getting the entire us market that was under that 1k per mo. bankrollamount ???

I need to lease some software and become a internet billionaire :leaving:

I considered leasing the old JetSet Poker software and trying something like this, but it's a massive project and I was discouraged by the response I got from a few different people. Plus, by the time you got a new start-up off the ground, poker would be "legal" (regulated) again anyhow!

I don't think ClubWPT is doing all that well anyways and they spend millions in advertising. Or are they?

I should add that I wouldn't be surprised if Club WPT is operating in the red right now, but with regulation not far away, the potential for future profits is probably lucrative enough to keep them afloat.

ya, if it gets legalized... who knows, if a holy roller is elected... clubwpt just seemed to do it all wrong. people dont get on there cuz u cant really make money w the 20$ a mo. stakes... there would have to be a way where if u are a 50$ subscriber u get access to this part of the site, a gold member 250$ this part, platnium 500$ this part, and then run the tournaments w normal payout amounts all day long, etc... unless FTP and all those sites just make most their money from a ton of new 1 time 25$ depositors, but I wouldnt think that would be the case.

why cant Poker stars, FTP.net do this sort of thing?

I'd imagine for the same reasons I outlined above. That it would take quite a bit of time and resources to implement and by the time it was done they would have wasted too much money because the industry will have already been properly regulated.
