It's not the best xmas tree

after this weekends storm and another coming tonight I scurried up Gold Run road in hopes of finding a tree. In previous years snows came later and getting to the top of the ridge where the silver tips are is usally pretty easy.
Not today it wasn't!! I got about half way up the hill and was finding 10 inches of snow and this road is steep I tell you. I decided to turn around in a safe spot and spotted a decent looking pine 30 yards up the hill. I cut the 8 footer down, knocked off the snow and shoved it in the back of the Explorer.

After getting it home my wife pointed out that it is a fine tree indeed.
phew another storm and I was going to have to BUY my first tree.:svengo:

no ...but you are stealing trees in the name of Christmas. You know that holiday for doing good things for family and neighbors in order to appease the Christmas god , Santa, who is watching right now wondering if you have been naughty or nice. geeze ringo .....i hope association isn't used in Santa's calculations...you may have doom us all to coal this year.
