Yesterday, it was announced that Full Tilt Poker's license was suspended and they would no longer be able to offer online poker to players from around the world. Although they were forced to discontinue their services to players from the USA a while back, up until yesterday, they were still one of the leading online poker rooms for international players not residing in the United States.

It's not clear when or if their license will be reinstated, so if you're an international poker player not residing in the United States and you're looking for a new place to play online poker, please see below for our recommendations of two great online poker rooms that are still in business.

They are currently offering all new players a 200% bonus worth up to $1,000 in free poker money. Along with poker, they also offer betting on casino games, sports, and skill games too!

what was that old argument about the possibility of online poker not being scewed? aka "rigged"... fulltilt makes billions of dollars a yr, why would they risk thier integrity, etc, etc... Cuz, no multi-billion dollar corporation, whos whole buisness is illiegal in the larget market in the world, whos whole product could be based on a early 21st century fad, or whos entire empire is exsistant in the virtual world w basically no real world infrastructure, would ever follow the old corporate philosophy of, Make as much as u can, while u can and disappear.

...what happened was exactly what was planned from day 1

I'm going to have to politely disagree with that last statement.

Even with all of the recent "setbacks" that Full Tilt has had to face; they still had a lot more to lose than they did to gain if they were to even consider influencing their software even in the least (at least for the benefit of any specific player(s)).

Although they aren't a player in the U.S. market (for now), they are still positioned to dominate the market when the time comes and they wouldn't be silly enough to think they could overcome any damage that would surface if they had been caught manipulating their games; especially when there will inevitably be some very massive and very legitimate companies offering online poker in the future (to players worldwide).

I can concede that there may be some sort of unproven "influence" on some online poker software programs and their ability to maximize rake, but I'm comfortable saying that it wouldn't be for the specific benefit of any one (or any one type) of players.

I tried to lease JetSet software a while back and they were happy to do so, but then the communication went to **** and I was left disappointed!
