Is anyone else watching The Voice on NBC?

At first I was skeptical of another singing competition, but I must say I have been pleasantly surprised thus far.

Tonight was the first night of the live shows and I am more optimistic and excited about this show than I have been for American Idol in quite some time.

After several very disappointing weeks to close out American Idol this season, I'm hoping The Voice can continue to keep me entertained week after week!

I'm still not sure how I feel about the format (and I haven't researched how things will play out with the format as the show goes on), but it does appear to be refreshing at the very least.

My favorite of the night tonight was Dia who sand a rendition of Kanye West's Heartless. I actually watched it back three time because it was so unique and well sung.

Based on tonight's performances, two people from each time will stay and two will be going home.

I will watch it this afternoon.
I am dissapointed that the producers didn't edit out Blake saying "that's what the ladies say" last week, commenting on looking so tall among his team members.

REALLY!

Blake is such an achy breaky heart country boy and now with a rude mouth.

C/A has a smart mouth too.

This show better get better quick or I am gone.

Yawn so far.
