The New Tricky Trivia

Thanks to KaciBlakely & taylovesthebeatles' discussion of TV shows and the mentioning of Cash Cab, an idea popped into my head to change the way we do tricky trivia.

From now on (or possibly in addition to the current set-up) I am thinking that we will set a time and date and run a trivia contest via the chatbox.

There would be a set # of questions - The first to respond with the correct answer will get a point. The person with the most points at the end of all of the questions would get a prize (to be determined).

Obviously anyone could Google most of the answers, which is fine, it will just give anyone who actually knows the answer the advantage of being able to type it in the Chatbox before the rest could Google it.

So, how many people are interested? What day/time works best?

I'll get some questions prepared (a mix of hard ones that you can't Google and some easier ones as well) and we'll have a blast!

eeeew eeeew ...i am i am......holds up left arm higher with right hand.....

and with the miracle of net u could even have a picture bonus question...lol .... but make sure the pic in its url address doesnt have the answer... a site did that once ....im so bad ....found that one out by taking advantage of its properties area...

Sounds good to me. And I think monday's at like 6.00pm would be a good time.

This sounds like so much fun!

I'm excited to efect something good on the forumz lol.

I can imagine that most answers would be googleable but most contest that involve trivia are google-able nowadays.

6PM is good for me also.

But make sure it's all on the same time line so no one shows up an hour late or so. lol.

Would the questions basically be pop culture? I don't know sports thats why I was asking.

And my history isn't that great either.

Would it be like family feud questions. I'm very intriqued by this now.

The questions would be a good variety of every genre.

Yes K is right i belive for dallas is 6pm est and for K that would be an hour or more earlier....so would 5pm or 4pm be good for u K....both times are good with me it would be 6pm est monday night for me

i would say anytime after 5pm pst. any day is fine to except weekends. sounds fun cant wait to try it out. thanks ndn.

That sounds good. I would prefer if it could be around 6pm for you guys so I could have an extra hour and be able to play at 5 central for me.

But it's okay I have a pretty lenient/flexible schedule myself.
